Romans 15:14-21 Exploring ESV
Paul the Minister to the Gentiles
Romans 15:14-21 I myself am satisfied about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able to instruct one another.
But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God
to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to be proud of my work for God.
For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience--by word and deed,
by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God--so that from Jerusalem and all the way around Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;
and thus I made it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else's foundation,
but as it is written, "Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand."

Ephesians 1:15-19 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,
I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,
having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might
Romans 11:13-14 Now I am speaking to you Gentiles inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry
in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous and thus save some of them.
1 Corinthians 1:26-31 For consider your calling, brothers; not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
But God choose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God choose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;
God choose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,
so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.
And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, "Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord."
Acts 15:12 And all the assembly fell silent, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul as they related what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.
Acts 21:18-21 On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.
After greeting them, he related one by one the things that God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.
And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, "You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all zealous for the law,
and they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or walk according to our customs.
Acts 2:18-21 even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.
And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;
the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day,
And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved,'
He was Pierced for Our Transgressions
Isaiah 52:13-15 Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted.
As many were astonished at you--his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind--
so shall he sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths because of him, for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand.
