The Mormons consider Michael to be a god, grouped in a triad consisting of Elohim, Jehovah, and Michael. In a revelation, given as Section 27 in Doctrine and Covenants, Michael is equated with “Adam, the father of all” and is called the “Prince of all, the Ancient of Days.”17 According to a revelation dated March, 1832, “Michael your Prince”18 was given the keys of salvation. At least six other references in The Doctrine and Covenants established this Adam-Michael equation.
