Our lives get so full — so busy and so noisy — that we forget to make room for God. We fill every space with responsibilities, distractions, and expectations, and without realising it, we leave very little room for God to move in us and through us.

That’s why we need to make room.

When we intentionally create space for Him, God can do far more than we could ever ask, think, or imagine. But it begins with honesty: what matters most to us? Is it our possessions, our reputation, our comfort, or our desire to be accepted?

Psalm 8:5 reminds us of Jesus — the Son of God — who humbled Himself and was made lower than the heavenly beings for our sake. If He was willing to lay aside glory and honour to fulfil the Father’s will, how much more should we lay aside anything that keeps us from Him?

We pour out passion at football games, events, and moments where we want to impress. But where is that same passion for God?

So today, what needs to shift? What do you need to release so you can truly make room?

There’s nothing you can do to make God love you any more or any less. But the spiritual disciplines — worship, prayer, and reading the Word — help you love Him more. They realign your heart and create space for God to speak, lead, and transform.

God wants you to dream again. He wants you to believe what He believes about you. To expect what could be and what should be. To hope again.

Because He can — and He will — do immeasurably more through you than you could ever ask, think, or imagine.

So today…
Will you make room?
Will you put Him first?
Will you keep expecting?
