Romans 15:14-21 Exploring WMB
Romans 15:14-21 I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.
But I write the more boldly to you in part as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God,
that I should be a servant of Messiah Yeshua to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
I have therefore my boasting in Messiah Yeshua in things pertaining to God.
For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Messiah worked through me for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,
in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God’s Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Good News of Messiah;
yes, making it my aim to proclaim the Good News, not where Messiah was already named, that I might not build on another’s foundation.
But, as it is written, “They will see, to whom no news of him came. They who haven’t heard will understand.”
Ephesians 1:15-19 For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Yeshua which is among you and the love which you have toward all the holy ones,
don’t cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
that the God of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him,
having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the holy ones,
and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might
Romans 11:13-14 For I speak to you who are Gentiles. Since then as I am an emissary to Gentiles, I glorify my ministry,
if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh, and may save some of them.
1 Corinthians 1:26-31 For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;
but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world that he might put to shame the things that are strong.
God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist,
that no flesh should boast before God.
Because of him, you are in Messiah Yeshua, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,
that, as it is written, “He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.”
Acts 15:12 All the multitude kept silence, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul reporting what signs and wonders God had done among the nations through them.
Acts 21:18-21 The day following, Paul went in with us to Jacob; and all the elders were present.
When he had greeted them, he reported one by one the things which God had worked among the Gentiles through his ministry.
They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Judeans of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the Torah.
They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children and not to walk after the customs
Acts 2:18-21 Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy.
I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.
It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Isaiah 52:13-15 Behold, my servant will deal wisely. He will be exalted and lifted up, and will be very high.
Just as many were astonished at you—his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men—
so he will cleanse many nations. Kings will shut their mouths at him; for they will see that which had not been told them, and they will understand that which they had not heard.
