MAKE GOD’S WORD THE STANDARD FOR YOUR LIFE.

Romans 12:2 (MSG)...... Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.*

I always tell people this truth: I am not the Christ that died for you. So, only follow me as long as I am still following Christ. The day you notice I stopped following, which I never pray for, then you should stop following me too.

Why do I say this? Because there are a lot of blind people following today in the body of Christ. We are only servants of God and not God. Sometimes we can be wrong too, but just because we are does not mean if you know the truth, then you should stop walking in the truth.

No man should be your standard for following or serving God. Only the word of God and the person of the Holy Spirit are giving the job. No matter how much you love me and follow me, don't do it if you find me doing something wrong.

Don't say if the pastor can do this, then it means it is right. I am not the standard; the word of God is, and this is why we ask people to always pray for us because we know the influence we have on people, so we don't fail God in their lives. Be guided.

Prayer:
Lord, I thank you and I am ready to follow your word, and your words only has the standard of my life. Amen.

Bible Reference: Joshua 1:1-8, Psalm 1:1-7.

Wisdom Capsule:
Proverbs 13:6 (MSG)....A God-loyal life keeps you on track; sin dumps the wicked in the ditch.
