John 3:13-21 30+ in Depth CR NIV

Numbers 21:7-9 The people came to Moses and said, "We sinned when we spoke against the LORD and against you. Pray that the LORD will take the snakes away from us." So Moses prayed for the people.

The LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live."

So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.

Job 24:13-17 "These are those who rebel against the light, who do not know its ways or stay in its paths.

When daylight is gone, the murderder rises up, kills the poor and needy, and in the night steals forth like a thief.

The eye of the adulterer watches for dusk; he thinks, 'No eye will see me,' and he keeps his face concealed.

In the dark, thieves break into houses, but by day they shut themselves in; they want noting to do with the light.

For all of them, midnight is their morning; they make friends with the terrors of darkness.

Psalm 1:6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Psalm 52:3 You love evil rather than good, falsehood rather than speaking the truth.

Proverbs 8:30 Then I was constantly at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence,

Proverbs 30:4 Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his  name, and what is the name of his son? Surely you know!

Isaiah 5:20-21 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.

Isaiah 9:5-6 Every warrior's boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
