First things first... EVERY platform online will experience scammers in one form or another. It is NOT just Lordsbook... But here, we are going to do our best to identify and remove them...

You can help!

If you see any suspicious activity, just report it via the three dots on bottom right of their profile banner. Don't worry about false reports, they will be check on by admin. Better safe than sorry.

Here are a few things to look for, but there are many.
1. Do they have provocative pictures? ( even if they are real, those are not appropriate here ) Usually that is the draw.

2. Do their pictures look like they found them online somewhere, and just posted them? If you wish, you can ask for a current picture with a date on it. Example, write todays date on paper, and send a pic with you in it.

3. They have multiple profiles, with generic info.

4. They are unusually friendly, asking you where you live, what you do, etc... ( they do this to get the info to post on more false profiles. ) No one needs to know that if you don't know them personally.

5. They are overly positive and use 'Christianese' excessively... (Ex.. Blessings and glory in Jesus Mighty Name, the King of kings. You have done so much, and I God will answer all your prayers today! We would like you to speak to our church to encourage them in the Lord.)

6. They will ask for contact info on other apps, such as Whatsapp or Telegram, etc. ( more info grabbing )

7. They have some kind of international ministry which you obviously cannot reach; orphanage, food bank, etc... And ask you right away to 'help the poor' by donating... Trust me, they are not. REAL ministries have connections for that already. They will always have heart tugging pics too.

8. If you are truly suspect, use the blue check mark as another layer of protection.

If you have any other clues, please post them here!
