1 John 5:6-13 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ, not with the water only but with the water and the blood.
And the Spirit is the witness, because the Spirit is the truth.
There are three witnesses, the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree.
If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God that he has borne witness to his Son.
He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does mot believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne to his Son.
And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life.
I write this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God;
all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.
In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:9-11 The true light that enlightens every man was coming into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world knew him not.
He came to his own home, and his own people received him not.
John 8:43-47 Why do you not understand what I say, It is because you cannot bear to hear my word.
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires, He was a murderer from the beginning, and nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
But, because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.
Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?
He who is of God hears the words of God; the reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God."
Ephesians 5:8-13 for once you were in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.
(for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),
and try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
For it is a shame even to speak of the things that they do in secret;
but when anything is exposed by the light it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light.
1 Corinthians 15:9-11 For I am the least of the apostles, unfit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace which is with me.
Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
