Noah preached the truth for over 100 years, but only 8 people were saved. It's a powerful reminder that even when the message is clear and the call is urgent, many still choose to ignore it. In 2 Peter 2:5, it says, "And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly." Noah’s message didn’t stop the flood, but it was a message of salvation for those who listened.
Today, just like in Noah’s time, many are distracted by life, not realizing the urgency of God’s call. Jesus said in Matthew 24:37-39, "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

It’s easy to get caught up in daily life and miss the signs, but just as Noah was faithful to warn, we are called to listen to God’s truth now, before it’s too late. Let’s not let the same thing happen to us.
