Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 30+ NIV Quest SB

Good Order in Worship

1 Corinthians 14:26-33 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.

If anyone speaks in a tongue, two--or the most three--should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret.

If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.

Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.

And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop.

For you can all  prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.

The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.

For God is not a God of disorder but of peace-- as in all the congregations of the Lord's people.

Galatians 4:4-5 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

Ephesians 1:11-14 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,

in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked to him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.

Philippians 3:7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.

Hebrews 9:27-28 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's might hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
