Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 30+ CR NIV

Matthew 10:34-36 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

For I have come to turn "a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter -in-law against her mother-in-law--

a man's enemies will be the members of his own household'.

Matthew 19:28-30 Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Any everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

Luke 14:26-27 " If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters--yes, even their own life--such a person cannot be my disciple.

And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

Romans 12:14-21 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.

If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay." says the Lord.

On the contrary; "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 Corinthians 7:5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Good Order in Worship

1 Corinthians 14:26-32 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or word of instruction, a revelation , a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.

If anyone speaks in a tongue, two--or at the most three-- should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret.

If there is not interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.

Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.

And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop.

For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.

The spirits of prophets are subject to control of the prophets.

Galatians 4:4-5 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,

to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

Ephesians 1:11-14 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,

in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession -- to the praise of his glory.

Philippians 3:7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.

Hebrews 9:27-28 Just as people are destine to die once, and after that to face judgement,

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of  many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Casts all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
