Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 30+LP
Everything Has It's Time
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted.
A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;
A time to weep. And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain, And time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away;
A time to tear, And time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;
A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace,
Injustice Seems to Prevail
Ecclesiastes 3:16-17 Moreover I saw under the sun: In the place of judgment, Wickedness was there; And in the place of righteousness, Iniquity was there,
I said in my heart, "God shall judge the righteous and the wicked, For there is a time there for every purpose and for every work."
Ecclesiastes 2:26 For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God, This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
Ecclesiastes 8:6 Because for every matter there is a time and judgment, Though the misery of man increases greatly.
Genesis 37:29-33 Then Reuben returned to the pit, an indeed Joseph was not in the pit; and he tore his clothes.
And he returned to his brothers and said, " The lad is no more; and I, where shall I go?"
So they took Joseph's tunic, killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood.
Then they sent the tunic of many colors, and they brought it to their father and said "We have found this. Do you know whether it is your son's tunic of not?"
And he recognized it and said, "It is m son's tunic. A wild beast has devoured him. Without Doubt Joseph was torn to pieces."
A Song of Miriam
Exodus 15:20-21 Then Miriam the prophetess and sister of Aaron, took the timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
And Miriam answered them: "Sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!"
Exodus 20:12-17"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
"You shall not murder.
"You shall not commit adultery.
"You shall not steal.
"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbors."
Esther 4:14 "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews form another place, but you and you father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
David's Mourning for Abner
2 Samuel 3:31-32 Then David said to Joab and all the people who were them, "Tear your clothes, gird yourselves with sackcloth, and mourn for Abner." And Kind David followed the coffin.
So they buried Abner in Hebron; and the king lifted his voice and wept at the grave of Abner, and all the people wept.
David, Bathsheba, and Uriah
2 Samuel 11:1 It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah, David remained at Jerusalem.
2 Kings 3:25 Then they destroyed the cities, and each man threw a stone on every good piece of land and filled it; and they stopped up all the springs of water and cut down all the good trees. But they left the stones of Kir Haraseth intact. However the slingers surrounded and attacked it.
2 Kings 7:15 And they went after them to the Jordan; and indeed all the road was full of garments and weapons which the Syrians had thrown away in their haste. So the messengers returned and told the king,
Lamentations 3:37-39 Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, When the Lord has not commanded it?
It is not from the mouth of the Most High That woe and well-being proceed?
Why should a living man complain, A man for the punishment of his sins?
