Since I became a dad, and even afterwards, I hear how people complain about children, money, etc. But this is what God told me, and I want to share it with everyone who feels that a child is a curse and expensive and all those other things we hear. But know that what God says is truth. Some may say it's true, but God says this is truth.
1. Children are a gift and a strategy of God
Psalm 127:3–5 says:
> “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.”
That means every child is like an arrow — aimed by God toward a specific purpose. Parents are not owners; they are stewards of God’s destiny-carriers.
---
2. They are born into a specific family by divine design
Acts 17:26 reminds us:
> “He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.”
That means even the family line, the city, and the generation are all chosen by God. So if a baby is born into a family facing generational bondage, God might be planting a deliverer there — like how Moses was born into a nation under oppression to become its liberator, or Samuel into a corrupt priesthood to restore prophetic order.
---
3. Children often carry the key to a family’s redemption
Sometimes a child’s birth signals a new beginning — the breaking of old curses or the continuation of a divine promise.
Think about:
Isaac — born as the child of promise when Abraham and Sarah were barren.
Joseph — sent ahead of his family to preserve them during famine.
John the Baptist — born to prepare the way for the Messiah.
Each of them was born to shift something spiritual in their family and nation.
---
4. The enemy also knows this
That’s why from the beginning, he’s tried to destroy children — from Pharaoh killing Hebrew babies to Herod killing the infants in Bethlehem. Satan fears what children represent: a future move of God.
---
5. Families must turn to God to protect and guide that purpose
Parents and families have the responsibility to align with God’s will so that the child’s calling can flourish. Deuteronomy 6:6–7 says:
> “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children...”
When a family surrenders to God, the blessing attached to that child begins to unfold — and what was once a curse can become a testimony of redemption.
So yes, brother and sister, what you’re sensing is spot on. Every baby is born on assignment. Some are sent to heal a bloodline, some to continue a spiritual legacy, and some to begin a new one entirely.
“Born With a Purpose” — The Divine Reason for Every Child
Every baby that enters this world carries more than just a heartbeat — they carry Heaven’s intention. From the very beginning, God has always used children to fulfill divine plans.
Psalm 127:3 says,
> “Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.”
That means they are not random. They are assignments wrapped in flesh.
---
Children Are Sent, Not Just Born
When a child is born, God is doing something strategic. He might be raising a healer for a hurting family, a deliverer for a cursed bloodline, or a prophet to awaken a generation.
Moses was born to deliver Israel from Egypt.
Samuel was born to restore God’s voice to a silent nation.
John the Baptist was born to prepare the way.
And then — the greatest of them all — Jesus Christ was born to redeem the entire world.
---
Jesus — The Child Who Carried the Cross Before He Could Walk
When Jesus was born, the world didn’t just receive a baby; Heaven sent a Savior.
Isaiah 9:6 declared it long before:
> “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder.”
Born of a virgin — not by man’s will, but by the Holy Spirit — Jesus entered the world through a family line God had carefully prepared.
He came as the answer to every curse, every sin, every broken family line.
Through His life, death, and resurrection, He broke the power of sin and gave us a way back to the Father.
So when we look at a newborn child, we should see more than a birth — we should see potential redemption, destiny, and divine purpose.
---
Every Birth Is a Battle for Purpose
That’s why the enemy attacks families, marriages, and children. He knows what God places in a child — the power to change bloodlines and bring generational blessings.
But when families turn to God, the very thing the enemy tried to destroy becomes the very thing God uses for victory.
Romans 8:28 says,
> “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.”
---
A Family Aligned with God’s Plan
When a family walks in obedience to God, the child’s purpose is unlocked.
That’s why it’s so important to raise children in the Word — not just to know about God, but to walk with Him.
Because that child might be the one through whom God brings freedom, healing, or revival to the whole family.
