Good morning God
Dear Heavenly Father,
In the quiet hush of this moment, I come before You with a humble heart, bowed low in awe of Your infinite grace. As Your Word declares in Romans 14:17, the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Oh Lord, ignite these sacred gifts within me today. Let righteousness clothe me like a garment, guiding my every step to align with Your holy will, far beyond fleeting pleasures or worldly indulgences.
Father, I confess my frailty—how easily I stumble in the shadows of self-reliance. Yet, in Your mercy, You invite me to walk daily with You, hand in hand, as Enoch did in faithful communion (Genesis 5:24). Empower me, I pray, by the divine fire of Your Holy Spirit, that same Spirit who descended like a dove upon Jesus at His baptism (Matthew 3:16). Infuse me with His presence, that I may live not by my strength, but by Yours, mirroring the life of Christ who humbled Himself to serve and shine (Philippians 2:5-8).
Grant me, O God, the grace to embody Jesus in this darkened world—a world groping in spiritual night, as Isaiah lamented (Isaiah 59:9-10). Like stars piercing the velvet sky, let me shine as a light-bearer, blameless and pure amid a crooked generation (Philippians 2:15). May the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—ripen in my life (Galatians 5:22-23), drawing the lost to Your radiant truth. When trials assail or temptations whisper, remind me of Your promise: “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made His light shine in our hearts” (2 Corinthians 4:6). Uphold me with Your right hand, that I may reflect Your glory, not for my acclaim, but for Yours alone.
In the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, transform my ordinary days into extraordinary testimonies of Your kingdom. May righteousness root my decisions, peace guard my soul, and joy overflow from Your eternal wellspring. Walk with me, Lord, every dawn and dusk, until that glorious day when I behold You face to face.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Example, I pray. Amen.
