These developments are not random. Under the guise of protecting health, safety, or financial stability, governments are being deceived by a hidden hand to build the tools to implement a universal policy of control. When religious influence is added to this framework, compelling the conscience in matters of worship, the prophecy of Revelation 13 will reach its fulfillment.

“The substitution of the laws of men for the law of God, the exaltation by merely human authority of Sunday in place of the Bible Sabbath, is the last act in the drama. When this substitution becomes universal, God will reveal Himself.” (Testimonies for the Church, vol. 7, p. 141)

The final issue will not merely be about technology, but about worship and allegiance. The question will be: Who will you obey, God or man? The machinery of control is only the outward form of a deeper spiritual conflict between Christ and Satan over the authority of God’s law.

While the world rushes toward centralization, God calls His people to separation, moral and spiritual independence. “Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth” (Revelation 14:7). True worship cannot be legislated, and true faith cannot be bought or sold.

Now is the time to anchor our faith in Christ, hide His Word in our hearts, and stand firm for principle though the heavens fall. As the systems of men prepare to enforce control, God is preparing a people who will stand loyal to Him through every test.
