Genesis 3:1-19 NKJV
John 8:37-47 "I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you.
"I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father."
They answered and said to Him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham.
"But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God, Abraham did not do this.
"You do the deeds of your father." Then they said to Him, "We were not born of fornication, we have one Father--God."
Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.
"Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.
"You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
"But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.
"Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?
"He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God."
Isaiah 7:10-17 Moreover the LORD spoke again to Ahaz, saying,
"Ask a sign for y9ourself from the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth or in the height above."
But Ahaz said, "I will not ask, nor will I test the LORD!"
Then he said, "Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?
"Therefore the LORD Himself will give you a sign; Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
"Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good.
"For before the Child shall know to refuse evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings.
"The LORD will bring the king of Assyria upon you and your people and your father's house--days that have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah."
John 16:16-24 "A little while, and you will not see Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father."
Then some of His disciples said among themselves. "What is this that he says to us, "A little while, and you will not see Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me'; and, because I go to the Father'?"
They said therefore, "What is this that He says, 'A little while'? We do not know what He is saying."
Now Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him, and He said to them, "Are you inquiring among yourselves about what I said, 'A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'?
"Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.
"A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
"Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you,
"And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.
"Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
