THE ADVENT TRUTH
Modern Christianity has preached a soft gospel—a gospel of belief without obedience, profession without transformation, grace without discipleship, and love without loyalty. But from Genesis to Revelation, God never changed the conditions of His covenant. He has always had one consistent call to every generation: “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

This is not legalism—this is love. Obedience has always been the response of a heart that has been redeemed. Jesus said it plainly in John 14:15, yet many today try to twist His words as if He somehow came to free us from His own law. But look at Scripture—Moses said it, Joshua repeated it, Daniel upheld it, Nehemiah rebuilt a nation on it, and John thundered it again in the New Testament church. Obedience is not an Old Testament concept—it is the eternal standard of God’s covenant people.

God is not looking for religious talkers, He’s looking for covenant keepers.
He’s not impressed with emotional worship if it is divorced from moral faithfulness.
He doesn’t want lip service—He wants life surrender.
Jesus didn’t die to free us from obedience, but to free us for obedience—so that through His Spirit, the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us (Romans 8:4).

The great controversy has always centered on one issue: Who will you obey? In Eden, Adam and Eve fell because they chose disobedience. At Sinai, Israel entered covenant through obedience. In the last days, Revelation declares God’s final remnant as those who “keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). True love is proven not by what we say, but by what we choose.

Jesus is coming back for a people who reflect His character—faithful, loyal, obedient, and sealed in righteousness. Not because they are saved by commandment keeping, but because they are saved into commandment keeping.

Grace does not erase obedience. Grace empowers obedience.
Faith does not replace law. Faith establishes the law (Romans 3:31).
Love does not ignore commandments. Love fulfills them (Romans 13:10).
