Good morning God

Dear Heavenly Father,
As the morning light rises and Your mercies are new again (Lamentations 3:22-23), I come before You with a humble and grateful heart. Thank You for the precious gift of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate in this blessed Christmas season. Your Word declares, “The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD” (Isaiah 11:2). Lord, we thank You that every promise in this verse was perfectly fulfilled in Jesus, the One anointed to save us (Luke 4:18).

Father, thank You that in Christ You revealed Your wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:24), Your understanding, and Your perfect counsel. Through His birth, life, death, and resurrection, You have brought us from darkness into Your marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). Thank You for sending the true Light of the world (John 8:12), who guides our steps and fills our hearts with hope.

Lord, we give You glory for the strength You have shown in Christ—strength that lifts the broken, heals the wounded, and saves the lost. Thank You that Jesus grew in wisdom and favor (Luke 2:52), showing us the way of humility and obedience.

This morning, Heavenly Father, we ask for divine understanding to fully grasp the meaning of this holy season. Open our hearts to the mystery of Christ’s birth, that we may behold Your love more deeply. Fill us with the same Spirit that rested on Jesus—wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and holy reverence for You.

Help us walk in His light today, becoming vessels of peace, kindness, and Christlike love to everyone around us.

In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
