If you feel like your deceased parents are still there with you, there is a very real chance that you are correct. Generational demons from a person’s mother or father show up in deliverance sessions with stunning consistency. When someone says you can really see someone’s father in them, it may be more literal than anyone realizes. These spirits take the names of the mother or father they came through. It is on our intake forms, it is on our worksheets, and we see it in session after session when it has never been cast out. Most deliverance ministers have never even heard of this.
I already know this post will be controversial, and I will probably be bombarded by every theological argument from people who have never cast out a demon and do not operate in deliverance. That is fine. This post is not for those people. I am writing this for the men and women who actually minister in deliverance and need to understand what is happening in their sessions.
If you are doing deliverance, start asking the person for the names of their mother and father, whether they are alive or deceased. Then, in the name of Jesus, ask, “Is there a demon by the name of ____?” Fill in the name of their mother or father, and you will be shocked at how often the answer is yes. When it shows up, make sure you break the generational curses tied to that parent and command every associated spirit to go in the name of Jesus.
If you have never cast this out of yourself, go after it. In the name of Jesus, ask, “Is there a spirit of ____?” Insert the name of your mother or father. You will immediately have the sense of a yes or no in your mind. If it has never been removed, it is almost always a yes. Go after those attachments and make them leave carrying all your parents junk.
