Genesis 1:3-Genesis 10:16 Verses 3,9,11,16 JSB

Genesis 1:3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

Genesis 1:9 Then God said, "Let  the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so.

Genesis 1:11 Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit trees that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so.

Genesis 1:16 Then God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.

Genesis 2:3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:11 The name of the first  is Pishon, it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.

Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

Genesis 3:3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'"

Genesis 3:9 Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"

Genesis 3:11 And He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten  from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?'

Genesis 3:16 To the woman He said; "I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you."

Genesis 4:3 And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD.

Genesis 4:9 Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know, Am I my brother's keeper?"

Genesis 4:11 So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.

The Family of Cain

Genesis 4:16 Then Cain went out from the presence of the LORD and dwelt in the land of Nod on the east side of Eden.

Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.

Genesis 5:9 Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Cainan.

Genesis 5:11 So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, and he died.

Genesis 5:16 After he begot Jared, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and had sons and daughters.
