Ecclesiastes 5:1-7 KJV

Acts 5:1-11 But a certain man named An-a-ni'-as, with Sap-phi'-ra his wife, sold a possession,

And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

But Pe'-ter said, An-a-ni'-as, why hath Sa'-tan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied to men, but unto God.

And An-a-ni'-as hearing these words fell down, and gave the ghost; and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

And Pe'-ter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? and she said, Yea, for so much.

Then Pe'-ter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord?behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

Then fell she down straightaway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost; and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Proverbs 6:1-5 My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

Thus art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with thy words of thy mouth.

Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.

Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.

Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.

1 Corinthians 11:7-16 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man.

For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

Judge in yourselves; is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is shame unto him?

But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given her for a covering.

But if any man seem to be contentions, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
