What Are Monitoring Spirits?
A monitoring spirit is sometimes called a masquerading spirit or a watcher, "surveillance" spirits.
The Bible tells us that Paul and Silas and other followers of Jesus Christ were followed by a demonic spirit. This spirit was used to monitor their movements and report back on the things they were doing. Acts 16:16-18
Once the owner of the slave girl found out that he could no longer use her to monitor people he made sure Paul & Silas ended up in jail. He was pretty mad! Acts 16:19-24
Because the devil is not omnipresent or omniscient, monitoring spirits are sent to monitor us, to see where our weaknesses lie, to gather information to facilitate spiritual attacks, steal blessings, infect with sickness, sabotage success, and generally wreak havoc in the victim’s life, to stop your assignment.
Know the truth! There is evil surrounding us and we need to be on guard at all times. Bind and rebuke them from monitoring your life, on a daily basis.
