1 John 4:1-3 Exploring Bible NKJV E100
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false peophets have gone out into the world.
By this you know the Spirit of God; Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Chrsit has come in the flesh is of God,
and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Chrsit has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
Order in Church Meetings
1 Corinthians 14:26-33 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
If anyone speaks in a tongue. let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret.
But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God.
Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge.
But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent.
For you can all prophesy one by one, taht all may learn and al may be encouraged.
And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
For God is but the author of confusuion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
Spiritual Gifts; Unity in Diversity
1 Corinthians 12:1-3 Now, concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant;
You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led.
Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and on one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
