Good morning God
Dear Heavenly Father,
With a humble and grateful heart, I come before You in awe of Your mercy and love. Your Word declares in John 1:29, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” Thank You, Father, for sending Jesus—Your spotless, perfect Lamb—to carry the weight of our sin. I thank You that through His sacrifice, I am forgiven, redeemed, and made new.
Lord, Your love is beyond understanding. As Your Word says, “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Thank You for loving me before I ever knew You. Thank You for giving what was most precious to You so that I could have eternal life (John 3:16).
Jesus, I thank You for offering Yourself willingly, like the lambs of old that were sacrificed for atonement. Yet You were the greater sacrifice, the fulfillment of Isaiah 53:7, the Lamb led to the slaughter, silent, obedient, and full of love. Thank You that Your blood speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). Your blood cleanses, heals, and restores.
Father, help me understand more deeply the power of Jesus’ sacrifice. Open my heart to grasp the depth of the cross, where the Lamb of God bore my shame, my guilt, and my punishment. Help me walk daily in gratitude, humility, and worship. Let the truth of Jesus’ sacrifice transform my life, my thoughts, my actions, and my love for others.
Teach me to live in the freedom You have given me—not by my strength, but by the grace purchased through the Lamb. Thank You for salvation, thank You for mercy, and thank You for Jesus, the Lamb of God who has taken away my sin.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
