The Counselor specializes in resolving disputes, but He often starts by commanding us to control our own spirit. His counsel teaches us patience, forgiveness, and the power of peaceable responses. Before you engage in a conflict, submit your mouth and your reaction to the Wonderful Counselor. He offers strength in silence and wisdom in restraint. Prayer Counselor, prepare my heart for any tension or conflict this season. Grant me the patience to be slow to anger and the wisdom to rule my spirit.
