Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

Yesterday I spoke of how the enemy twists things that God has meant for good and turned them evil and how that road runs two ways, because what the enemy intends for bad, God turns to good.

I have heard “If God made everything, then all this bad is his fault.” Or “God made me this way, and if he doesn’t make mistakes then I am who I am supposed to be.” Have you ever heard these statements?

Both statements ring of logic. Both statements appear to be of sound judgment. However, there are flaws with both statements. These two statements are the work of the enemy.

The first one is a cop out. God did not make war or illness to work as it does now. The only time that he instituted war or illness was in defense of His people. The enemy stirred up the wars in revolt against God. God made people. People with free will. People who, like Saul before Damascus, who felt they were doing the Lord’s work and went to war. God made science to help us grow, yet it was man who took shortcuts and found ways to mess up God’s perfect body. Though we are now destined to have an illness of some sort thanks to science, God has taken those circumstances and built cities of compassion throughout His church.

The second statement leans in towards personal attitude and appearance. This particular statement is used quite a lot with the homosexual community. Now I am not calling anyone out, just stating a fact. ‘If God made me, and he doesn’t make mistakes, and I am homosexual, then I am who he made me to be, so how can that be a sin?” I have heard that statement or similar ones more times than I can count. The comeback is a bit trickier because the enemy had also used ‘unconditional love’ as a weapon. ‘If I am this way and He loves unconditionally, what’s the problem?” Sound familiar?

Yes. God does love His children unconditionally. Note: His children. Those that have surrendered their lives to Him. Those who have chosen to follow his guidelines. Those who choose to at least try and sin no more. Those who put Him in the forefront of their lives over their desires. Those who repent daily for falling short and ask for forgiveness. Those who spend their lives serving Him. If there are those who have been or were once His child, but you are in a state of rebellion, you can come back. He will accept you back in the fold. However, if you are of the mind that He will allow you into paradise and you have not told him how much you love him … you have been betrayed by the enemy and his lies.

God is a gentleman. He is not going to force you to believe. He is not going to make you follow his guidance. He is not going to make you praise him. He has given us free will to choose our own path. If you choose the enemy’s path because it ‘feels’ right … then you will follow it to hell. However, if you choose the Father’s path, the path may seem like Hell, but the destination is paradise.

For those of us who are walking the path, asking for forgiveness, repenting, and working hard at being obedient children, we cannot shy away from sharing the Word. We cannot turn a blind eye and say that is not our fight. Where it might not be our fight, it is our obligation to plant the seed of Truth, regardless of the circumstances. We are bound by our faith to share the Truth of His Love and His jealousy. It ultimately is their choice, but by not sharing your wisdom, you are setting them up for a hot fall. You can share the truth without being hostile. Simply ask for a gentle conversation and let the Holy Spirit guide your words and tone.

Today I encourage you to find that topic that you have been avoiding, put on the full armor of God, and move forward as he has asked. Do not fear, have faith.

Be blessed today my friends.
