SHOULD WE NOW PREACH POVERTY (PART 2)

Zechariah 7:7 (KJV)..... Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

It is time we wake up as a church and fight for the rebirth of true Christianity. A Christianity with its full foundation, all restored and balance teachings.

One of the areas we should concentrate on in this our fight is to stand our ground that the gospel we are called to preach has the power to prosper men and change their lives and level. Failure to do this, our children will ask us questions we won't be able to give answers to because when you watch them migrate to other beliefs and we try to tell them that it is wrong, they can see clearly that people who believe in other gods are prospering, and yet we claim that Christianity is the real and ultimate life of God, but why are the people in it poor?

This world is watching, and they like and are enjoying the fight happening among Christians in the name of fighting for the truth.

I remembered when the world discovered the TV set and people started buying and making use of it, some preachers in the Christian fold came up with teachings that this innovation is of the devil and that it is the mark of the antichrist and a sign that the coming of Christ is near. While we were on that, the world was enjoying the innovation, and before we could wake up as a church, they had gone far.

Prosperity is not bad, but the love of money is the root of all evil. Selah.

Prayer:
Oh Lord, I thank you for your word today and it has opened my eyes to the realities of your kingdom as it pertains kingdom wealth in Jesus name. Amen.

Bible Reference: 1 Timothy 6: 1-21 (AMP).

Wisdom Capsule:
Proverbs 2:22 (MSG)..... The corrupt will lose their lives; the dishonest will be gone for good.
