SHOULD WE NOW PREACH POVERTY? (PART 3).

Job 36:11 (KJV)..... If they obey and serve him, They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures.

The problem of Christianity comes from those Christians who are part of the Christian family. Our problem is from the preachers of the gospel who in their heart feel that God is not fair to put down some things in the Bible and who bless some so-called men of God instead of them.

I know we have the extremes to this prosperity thing, but as it is with the prosperity message, so it is with every other subject of the Bible. We also have the extremists, i.e., people who do more than is required and bite off more than they can chew.

Just because someone was killed by a car does not mean we call the use of a car a curse. So, just because some men are not using the blessings of God as they should does not mean we brand the blessing a curse.

Poverty is never from God, and it is not good. Our theme scripture is a word from God that says that if his people who are called by his name can obey and serve him, then the effect should be this: they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure. We can’t be wiser than God and let God be true and every other person a lie. Hallelujah.

Prayer:
I submit to your Lordship and word, and I thank you for the truth it has brought into my life. Amen.

Bible Reference: Romans 3:1-15, Zechariah 10:1-3.

Wisdom Capsule:
Proverbs 4:1 (MSG).....
