SHOULD WE NOW PREACH POVERTY? (PART 4).

Psalm 30:6 (KJV)..... And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

Psalm 35:27 (KJV)...... Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: Yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Every good parent wants their children to prosper. I am yet to see a good parent who wants their seed to struggle and live a life in poverty. We all bless our own with all that makes for a good life.

Do you know that poverty in every sense is bad? If we are being evil but we know how to give good gifts to our own, how much more our heavenly father? The prosperity of God's children gladdens the heart of God. He wants his servants to prosper, not to oppress people, but to let them know it is good to follow God.

If in those days in Africa before the gospel came, our fathers served other gods who blessed their land and gave them good harvests and plenty of catches as hunters, why do you think the God of the universe should make us poor? I want you to develop the faith in God for prosperity. There is such a faith for prosperity as there is one for healing, salvation, deliverance, etc. This one is towards you tapping into the good of the land and believing that God will profit you, but you must be a GIVER because nothing comes into your hands if you don’t open it. Amen.

Prayer:
Your word is a light and a lamp unto my feet. I will feed on it daily for it has blessed me. Amen.

Bible Reference: Psalm 119: 1-48.

Wisdom Capsule:
Proverbs 4:2 (MSG).... I’m giving you good counsel; don’t let it go in one ear and out the other.
