THE POWER OF GIVING YOURSELF OVER (PART 2)

1 Timothy 4:15 (KJV)..... .Meditate upon these things; GIVE THYSELF wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

As I mature daily, I tend to appreciate God, his word, and the words I heard from my father while growing up, so I love life. You may ask to know why. One of the things I learnt about life and which I celebrate life for ; “is that life that will give to you what you sow into it.”

What a truth. If you know this, as simple as it sounds, it will liberate you from much stress. How can you not do anything meaningful with your life now that you are young and strong? How can you just sit and gossip? What you sow is what you will reap.

Why don't you give yourself over to something meaningful? Paul says to Timothy, his son in the Lord, to meditate on some things and give himself wholly (completely) to them that his gain may appear to all.

So, people are going to see in your life the resultant effect of what you gave yourself to. And if you refuse to give yourself over to nothing, I want you to also expect nothing in return.

With this knowledge now, what will you do with it?

Prayer:
I thank you for showing me the way out of trouble and I vow to be serious with my life and to commit myself to the word and things that are meaningful to my journey and purpose in life. Amen.

Bible Reference: 1 Timothy 4:1-16 (AMP).

Wisdom Capsule:
Proverbs 18:4 (MSG)..... Many words rush along like rivers in flood, but deep wisdom flows up from artesian springs.
