Wait

Isaiah 40:27-31 Why sayest thou, O Ja'-cob, and speakest, O Is'-ra-el, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgement is passed over from my God?

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall;

But they that wait upon upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Be Still

Psalm 46:10-11 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Ja'-cob as our refuge. Se'-lah.

Pray

Matthew 6:5-15 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do; for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

But not ye therefore like unto them; for our Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

After this matter therefore pray ye; Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. A'-men.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 Rejoice evermore.

Pray without ceasing.

In every thing give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Je'-sus concerning you.

Quench not the Spirit.

Despise not prophesyings.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Je'-sus Christ.

Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Don't Worry

Philippians 4:6-8 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Je'-sus,

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things ae pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; If there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
