THE ADVENT TRUTH
You may feel forgotten. Overlooked. Worn down by battles nobody else sees. You give your best, you pray, you try to stay faithful—but life keeps hitting. Maybe you’ve asked God, “Why does it feel like I’m losing when I’m trying so hard to stand?” But hear this truth: you are not defeated—you are being developed. God does some of His greatest work in seasons that feel like silence.
Joseph was forgotten in prison—but God was preparing him for the palace.
Moses was hidden in the wilderness—but God was shaping him to deliver a nation.
David was running from Saul—but God was teaching him to rely on Him alone.
Even Jesus went into the wilderness before His public ministry began.
So if you’re in a hard season, don’t misinterpret it. Delay is not denial. Silence is not absence. Waiting is not wasting. God is not punishing you—He is positioning you. The enemy wants you to believe this chapter is your ending, but God says, “No—this is preparation.” He hasn’t forgotten your prayers, your tears, your obedience, or the nights you worshiped through your pain. God writes down tears (Psalm 56:8) and strengthens the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). He promises, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with thee” (Isaiah 43:2). He never said it would be easy—but He did say you would never walk alone.
Your pain has a purpose. Your fight has a future. Your struggle is shaping a testimony that hell won’t be able to silence. You’re not being buried—you’re being planted. And whatever God plants, He intends to grow. So don’t quit. Don’t give up. Don’t turn back. Keep praying even when it feels heavy. Keep trusting even when you don’t understand. Keep standing—because victory is closer than it feels.
If the enemy could’ve stopped you, he would’ve done it already. The fact that you’re still breathing means God still has a plan for your life. Hold the line. Your breakthrough is coming—in God’s time, not yours. Stay faithful. Stay grounded. Stay ready.
