Good morning God
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble and grateful hearts, thanking You for Your living Word that gives us life. In John 4:14, Your Son Jesus declared, “Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” Father, we thank You for revealing that Jesus alone is the true source of living water—water that does not merely refresh the body, but satisfies the deepest thirst of the soul.
Lord, we confess that many times we seek satisfaction in things that cannot last. Yet Your Word reminds us that every earthly well runs dry, but Christ’s water flows forever. As You promised in Isaiah 55:1, You invite the thirsty to come and drink freely. In Jesus, You have fulfilled that promise. He is the Bread of Life (John 6:35) and the Living Water who quenches our hunger and thirst for meaning, forgiveness, and eternal life.
Father, we thank You for the grace offered through Jesus Christ, who cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink” (John 7:37). Thank You that this living water becomes a spring within us, renewed by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5), flowing into hope, joy, and everlasting life. Through Christ, our dry hearts are revived, and our weary souls find rest.
Today, Lord, we come longing for that water. We ask You to fill us afresh with Your Spirit, to cleanse our hearts, and to deepen our desire for You alone. Like the deer that pants for streams of water (Psalm 42:1), our souls thirst for You, O God. Satisfy us with Your unfailing love, that we may live in the fullness of eternal life found only in Jesus.
In His precious name we pray,
Amen.
