God is not a big Scrooge in the sky who looks down on His flawed children and waits to judge them when they do something wrong. Instead, He saw how broken, flawed, and messed up we were and came into our world to save it... to save us. God sent Jesus so that we could have life and be saved.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, save me from the sin that messes up my heart and my actions. Through Your Holy Spirit, make my heart clean and give me a new spirit. Thank You for being kind and forgiving. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
