The Wonderful Counselor cares about the motive behind the gift—whether it’s time, attention, or a physical present. His counsel directs us away from begrudging duty toward cheerful purpose. Ask the Counselor to show you how to give a gift from a truly cheerful heart today. Prayer Counselor, align my heart with Yours in all my giving. Take away any grudging spirit or sense of necessity.
