Luke 24:27 In all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself 30+ NKJV
Matthew 17:22-23 Now while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men,
"and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up." And they were exceedingly sorrowful.
Luke 16:14-17 Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him.
And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
"The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.
"And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.
John 1:43-51 The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, "Follow Me."
Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."
And Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, "Come and see."
Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said to him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed in whom is no deceit!"
Nathanael said to Him, "How do You know me? Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you."
Nathanael answered and said to Him, "Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!"
Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you, 'I saw you under the fig tree,' do you believe? You will see greater than these."
And He said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man."
Acts 5:22-32 But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported,
saying, "Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!"
Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these things, they wondered what the outcome would be.
So one came and told them, saying, "Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in thee temple and teaching the people!"
Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.
And when they had brought them, they set then before the council. And the high priest asked them,
saying, "Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man's blood on us!"
But Peter and the other apostles answered and said; "We ought to obey God rather than man.
"The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree.
"Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
"And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."
