Rest in God’s Promises

Verse:
2 Corinthians 1:20
“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ.”

Sometimes faith means not striving,
not worrying,
but learning to rest.

God’s promises do not depend on how we feel
or what we see right now.
They are already secured in Christ.
When our strength runs out,
His promises remain steady.

Resting in God’s promises
is choosing peace over fear,
trust over control,
and hope over anxiety.

Even when the answers are not yet visible,
we can rest—
because God is faithful to every word He has spoken.

Reflection
Which promise of God do I need to rest in today,
instead of trying to carry everything on my own?

Prayer
Lord, teach me to rest in Your promises.
Help me to trust You beyond what I see or understand.
I choose to place my hope in Your faithfulness today.
