In my time with God today this is what I got not sure about posting it but maybe it’s something that someone needs to hear
I look into the recesses of my mind
and all I see is swirling darkness.
A glimmer of memory tries to break through,
but before it can be held
it slips back into the void.
I reach for the thoughts of my life,
but they feel drawn into a vortex,
hidden somewhere beyond my grasp.
Where did they go?
Why do they hide?
And I ask the Lord,
Why are my memories like mist,
so distant, so unclear?
And He answers me:
Some things are meant to be hidden.
In the hiding, you were kept safe from pain.
What love could not yet heal,
mercy covered.
But when I shine the light of My love
on what was lost and forgotten,
healing breaks forth
like the dawn of a new day.
What has been hidden
will be revealed by the light of My love,
by the truth of My word.
I do not uncover to wound you,
but to restore you.
So do not chase what has slipped away.
Place your questions in My hands.
If the mist remains, I am still near.
If the darkness lingers, I am still light.
Trust the timing of My healing,
the kindness of what I reveal,
and the mercy of what I keep covered for now.
For I have come
to bring healing life to the darkness.
And even in what you cannot remember,
I remember you.
I have always been there —
calling life out of the dark.
I look into the recesses of my mind
and all I see is swirling darkness.
