Heavenly Father, we thank You for a powerful Sunday in Your presence. As we step into this Monday morning during the Advent season, we carry with us the awe of Your divine plan revealed through the birth of Jesus Christ. Thank You for reminding us through Matthew 1:18–25 that You work through humble obedience and willing hearts. Just as You chose Joseph—an ordinary man with an extraordinary yes—to protect, provide for, and participate in the miracle of Christ’s coming, we present ourselves to You today and say, Lord, use me.
Lord, in this Advent season, shape our hearts to be attentive to Your voice. When Your plans interrupt our comfort, give us the faith of Joseph to trust without hesitation. Help us to obey even when we do not fully understand, knowing that Your purposes are always redemptive and filled with grace. Let our lives make room for Jesus, not only in word but in action, character, and surrender. May Christ be formed in us so that the world may see Emmanuel—God with us—through how we live, speak, and serve today.
Father, as we go into our workplaces, homes, and communities this Monday, consecrate us for Your use. Use our hands to serve, our mouths to speak life, our hearts to love sacrificially, and our steps to follow Your will. Cover us with peace, strengthen us with wisdom, and guard us with righteousness. Let this Advent season not pass us by as mere tradition, but transform us into faithful vessels who carry Christ into a waiting world.
We declare that this week is set apart for Your glory. Just as Joseph rose and did exactly what the Lord commanded, we rise today with obedience in our spirits and hope in our hearts. Thank You for Jesus, our Savior, our Emmanuel. We trust You, we submit to You, and we ask again—Lord, use us.
In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
