A Word for the Broken, the Wounded, and the Silent Sufferer

That secret pain you went through…
That trauma you never spoke about…
It slowly pulled you away from God.

You stopped praying.
You stopped studying the Word.
You stopped yearning for His presence.
Deep in your heart, you began to question if God was still there, if He ever was.

You feel empty.
Lost.
Disconnected from purpose.

Sometimes you think, “Maybe this is God punishing me for my past sins.”

But God never called you any of those things.

Even when you walked away, God never left you.
Even when you stopped seeking Him, He kept watching over you.
Even in your silence, He heard the cries your lips could not utter.

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast? … Though she may forget, I will not forget you.”

What you went through did not happen because God hated you.
It happened in a broken world, but God allowed it because He intends to heal, restore, and use you.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
