"You shall have no other gods before Me." Exodus 20:3

This is not a suggestion: it is a command. God demands first place, not shared space. Anything you trust, fear, love, or obey more than God becomes your god. Idolatry is not only bowing to statues, it is divided loyalty of the heart.
God will not compete with money, relationships, career, ministry, power, pleasure, or self. When God is not first, He is not truly God in your life. A divided heart produces a defeated life.
To have no other god means to place God above everything and everyone. It means your decisions, priorities, time, and obedience are governed by God's Word, not emotions, pressure, or convenience. God does not accept leftovers:He demands lordship.
Whatever you trust more than God becomes your god.
Whatever controls you replaces God.
Friends, check your heart: what you cannot release is what you worship.
A God-first life is a God-blessed life.
When God takes first place, everything else falls into order.
God is a jealous God, not because He is insecure, but because He knows idols destroy. Idols promise satisfaction but deliver bondage. Only God gives life, peace, and eternal security.
If you want God’s presence, give Him first place.
If you want freedom, destroy hidden idols.
If you want to be ready for His coming, serve God alone.
You cannot serve two masters and make Heaven.
