Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

WE are back home. We got home last night. I took today off to make sure he was going to be okay at home. Six in the morning and already caught him trying to be supportive and helpful…what am I going to do with him … haha.

Feels like, now, I am seriously trying to catch a cold. Either that or because my morning routine was disturbed, all my sinuses are speaking up, saying it is not time for that, those things need to wait their turn. It feels like I am coughing more than normal. Weird. I may try to nap today. I am beat.

After we got home, medicines distributed, and a bite to eat, I was able to get online and do my Christmas shopping for my littles across the pond. I had started it but got distracted. We were talking about something last night and it clicked that I had not completed the shopping. Nothing like praying German Amazon can deliver. One neat and blessed thing about Amazon is that it IS worldwide and I can shop for them from here. Another very wonderful blessing is that his ex-wife and I are cordial, and she has allowed me to ship all the presents to her home. I am glad we can interact like adults.

One of the things that Jesus taught was that we can be nice or cordial to those we disagree with. He reminds me of the scene in the movie Road House where Patrick Swazey told his guys that being a bouncer was job … not personal. They were to be nice until HE told them it was time to not be nice. Everywhere Jesus went, he was nice … until it was time to not be nice.

Every day we have opportunities to plant seeds of encouragement or seeds of destruction. Our attitude and disposition towards situations and people are the seeds that we are planting. It has taken me years, and I am still not completely there yet, to temper my tone so not to sound gruff all the time. Even then, sometimes it does not work. But the attempt is there. Genuinely. I have had customers tell me that they did not like me at first, but after several interactions, they realized that I was just doing my job and that I was not so bad. Haha. I take that as high praise. However, I would like my first impressions to set the tone of a positive encounter, planting His seeds of hope and love. Therefore, I will continue to try and model His steps, because in the end, the only thing I want to hear is, “Welcome home, good and faithful servant.”

Be blessed today my friends.
