Even in the most difficult times, God is always there. He promises to never leave us or forsake us! Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. We can take comfort and refuge in knowing that we have a good, loving Father who is our shelter in the storms that we face in our lives. Sometimes, we are so utterly exhausted that we don't feel as though we can go on or continue - the next school day, work shift, etc. We don't believe we can go on in our own strength anymore. Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. This is when God swoops in and gives us the strength we need.
