FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF ABUSE OR WAR
Lord, I want to pray for my friends
who have suffered so terribly. I cannot begin to
enter into the pain they go through and are still suffering.
I pray Lord Jesus that somehow they will know
your presence in the memories of their terror,
your courage and comfort in their pain, your healing
in their wounds, and your hope as they try to
rebuild their lives. Give them the strength and
power they need at this very difficult time.
I pray that I will be a true friend
who will be with them, who will,
at the right time, listen to them
with your love, acceptance, and compassion.
