Heavenly Father, We come before You this Monday morning with grateful hearts after the powerful move of Your Spirit in yesterday’s service. Thank You for Your presence, Your Word, and the fresh stirring You placed within us. As we step into a new week, we declare that what You began in us, You will complete (Philippians 1:6).
Lord, just as the angel declared to Mary, “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee” (Luke 1:35), we ask that Your Holy Spirit would come upon us today. Overshadow our thoughts, our plans, our conversations, and our actions. Let Your power rest on us as we walk into our assignments, workplaces, homes, and communities.
Father, teach us to respond like Mary, who said, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word” (Luke 1:38). We surrender our agendas and say yes to Your will. Use us even when we don’t feel qualified. Use us even when it stretches our faith. Let obedience rise higher than fear, and trust be stronger than doubt.
Lord, You are the God who does great things, for “He that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name” (Luke 1:49). Do great things in us and through us this week. Use our hands to serve, our mouths to speak life, our feet to carry peace, and our hearts to reflect Your love.
We declare that our lives will magnify You, just as Mary proclaimed, “My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour” (Luke 1:46–47). May our joy be rooted not in circumstances, but in the calling You have placed on our lives.
Lord, use us to encourage the weary, to strengthen the weak, and to point the lost to You. Let this not be just another Monday, but the beginning of a week marked by purpose, power, and praise. We leave the altar, but we carry Your presence with us.
We say it boldly and humbly: Lord, use me.
Use me for Your glory.
Use me for Your kingdom.
Use me for such a time as this.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
