*HOW TO FINISH THE YEAR WELL Part 2*.
*BASIC SCRIPTURES:* "Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit." (Ecclesiastes 7: 8).
*MESSAGE:*
In life, it's not enough to start a thing but you must strive to finish it. In life, it's not enough to start a project but you must strive to complete it.
God is not a God of abandoned projects, He wants us to complete every good works we have began in 2025.
That's why He said in His word, "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6).
Consequently, God is not just a God of beginning, He is also a God of the ending. That is why we call Him Alpha and Omega meaning the Beginning and the ending. (Rev. 22: 13).
However, according to Bible translators, He is not just 'Alpha and Omega', He is 'Alpha Omega'. That the 'and' is an error in translation.
Some believe it's an error because since God is eternal and has no beginning or end. However, my point today is, God is committed that He finishes what He start.
And He is committed to ensuring that you end this year well. And He is also interested in you completing all the projects you started this year.
Nevertheless, having said all these, what does it means to Finish 2025 well?
To finish the year 2025 well means, to finish and complete what you have started; to finish well means to finish the year 2025 strong.
Now, in using the game of Athletics, the apostle Paul help us in understanding how to finish well.
That, every one cheers the runners at the start of the race... but the real race is fought and won by the one that touches the finish line.
He said, "Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
but I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified."
(1 Corinthians 9:24-27).
Now what he is saying in essence is, in a race, everyone runs but only one gets first prize. So run your race to win. But in order to win, you be discipline in your approach in life.
Furthermore beloveth, in order to win the contest of life, you must deny yourselves many things that would keep you from getting the prize or getting to the finishing line. You must focus on your goal and refuse to be distracted.
In the natural, an athlete goes to all this trouble just to win a blue ribbon or a silver cup reward that disappears or wears away. BUT we do it for a heavenly reward that never disappears or wears away.
So we must run straight to the goal with purpose in every step in order to fight to win; and not just shadow boxing or playing around.
Moreover, like an athlete I must punish my body, treating it intentionally, training it to do what it should, NOT what it wants to. OTHERWISE I would be disqualified.
And I pray for you, may you receive the capacity to discipline yourself and keep your body under like Paul to win the race of the year 2025 and not be disqualified in Jesus' name. Amen
Therefore, this Christmas season, discipline yourself from the sin of detty December so that you will not be disqualified for the race.
Because as Christmas is approaching, some Christians like unbelievers are planning to 'detty' December, may they be frustrated in Jesus' name.
Because you are the light of the world, what glory will you give to your Father as a Christian when you are joining unbelievers to do 'detty' December in club houses and hotels? Receive Holy Ghost sense in Jesus' name.
Because it's an error to start January well in the house of the Lord and end the year partying, clubbing and doing detty December in the lounge.
Again, I pray for you, may you end the year well in Jesus' name. Amen.

*PROPHECY FOR THESE EMBER MONTHS/NEW YEAR*
1. God wants to disgrace the enemy of the Church and exterminate the root of evil and wickedness in Nigeria.
2. In general, the Church of God in Nigeria should beef up security this Christmas/New Year celebration season. Because some wicked and unreasonable people wants to strike.
3. Blood sucking demons have been activated especially on the highway this remaining ember months, so travellers should always pray properly and soak themselves with the blood of Jesus before embarking on trips. Hence, if necessary, avoid going to the village this Christmas/New Year celebration.
4. Friends and family as this year is going to an end, let your voice of thanksgiving and praise be heard in heaven more than your prayer requests.
5. Men and brethren and lovers of Nigeria all over the world, it's time for us to intercede for this great nation like never before that God should turn the counsel of Ahitophel into foolishness. Pray that those beating the drum of war will be consumed by it. We pray that peace will reign in this land and that Nigeria will not become another Somalia in Jesus' Name.
In conclusion, I prophesy to you that the evil winds that is blowing in 2025 will not blow you or any of your family members away in Jesus' name. Amen.
And you shall all see the new year 2026 with joy and celebration in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
