My friend, in these days of confusion and many voices, the only way not to be swept away by false teaching is to know God’s Word for yourself. Jesus warned in Matthew 24:24 (KJV):“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” That’s why we must daily open the Bible, pray for the Spirit’s guidance, and hold fast to the truth. Paul reminds us in 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV): “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Don’t just take someone’s word for it—let the Scriptures speak, for God’s Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm 119:105).
