TRUTH ABOUT MONEY (PART 2)
Ecclesiastes 10:19 (KJV)
“A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.”
Reflection
Money is not evil. Do not be deceived into thinking that money itself is the cause of the world’s problems. The truth is, it is the love of money —greed and obsession—that corrupts hearts. Those who hold a negative mindset about money often struggle to prosper and may even resent those who have it.
Here is the second truth about money:
Money flows toward those who appreciate it.
There is a spiritual principle: what you appreciate, you attract. What you honor, you draw closer. What you treat with respect will remain with you. As children of God, we must learn to appreciate money, for Scripture says it “answers all things.” Sadly, many believers pray fervently yet neglect this principle, and as a result, church projects remain unfinished because the resources needed are not available.
So, how do we appreciate money?
- Do not call it evil.
- Do not see money as your life.
- Do not consider yourself inferior to money.
- Do not focus only on spending or wasting it.
- Think of investing, helping others, and multiplying it.
When you treat money with wisdom and honor, it will flow toward you. Hallelujah!
Prayer
Father, I am grateful for this truth. Thank You for opening my eyes to appreciate money rightly. I will put this wisdom to work in my life. Amen.
