TRUTH ABOUT MONEY (PART 1)

Ecclesiastes 10:19 (KJV)
“A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.”

Reflection
Money itself is not evil. Scripture makes it clear that it is the love of money — the unhealthy attachment and obsession—that becomes the root of all evil. Money, as God’s creation, is not bad. In fact, the Bible says it “answers all things,” meaning it has the capacity to meet needs and provide solutions.

As children of God, we are not called to lack money, nor are we called to chase it recklessly. Instead, we are to walk in wisdom so that money finds its way to us. Money flows toward a certain mindset—one shaped by discipline, stewardship, and faith.

Principle 1: If you don’t SAVE, you are not SAFE.
Many believers fail in the area of saving. They consume everything they receive, living only for the present moment. Some even excuse this by saying, “Don’t be faithless; tomorrow will take care of itself.” But this is not wisdom—it is carelessness. Even the ant stores up food for the future. Saving is a mark of prudence, and neglecting it leads to poverty. As you step into a new season, carry wisdom with you.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for teaching me kingdom economics. Thank You for opening my eyes to the truth about saving. Grant me the grace to handle money with discretion and wisdom. Amen.
