Good morning God

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You this morning with grateful hearts, thanking You for the precious gift of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. As Your angel declared, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people” (Luke 2:10), we rejoice in the good news that was born for us—a Savior, who is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:11). Thank You for the light of salvation that entered the world through Him, bringing hope to those who sat in darkness (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:9).

Father, we praise You for Your great love, that You gave Your only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). This morning, we acknowledge that Jesus is the fulfillment of Your promise, Emmanuel, God with us (Matthew 1:23). Through His birth, You have shown us Your mercy and faithfulness from generation to generation (Psalm 103:17; Titus 3:4–5).

As we begin this day, fill our hearts with joy and peace through the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). Help us to live in gratitude, proclaiming the good news of salvation in our words and actions. May our lives glorify Christ, who came to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:21). We offer this prayer with thanksgiving and praise, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Amen.
